Commissioned by Dr. Chris Potter. Each movement features
a different solo flute. Light percussion doubles.
Pitched 2-liter soda bottles. Scored for Piccolos/Flutes
1-2, Flutes 3-6, Alto Flute, Bass Flute, C Flute
(substitute part for Alto Flute), plus the four solo
parts. The work may feature a single soloist doubling on
four flutes, or members from within the ensemble.
(Movements featuring the solo alto and bass flute also
require ensemble performers on these same instruments,
i.e., two of each instrument are needed.) (Grade 3) |
