I Hate It When
You Get That Way
[PCMP-121] $18, duration 5:15 |
| For
trombone choir (8 parts; four players doubling on light
percussion). This piece was inspired by, and is
dedicated to, Austin, the family cat ... the family
psycho cat! The piece is written in a swing jazz
style, shifting to Latin in the middle, representing
Austin's psychotic mood swings ... even though it is
humanly impossible for live musicians to perform any
piece of music at a tempo that actually captures the
essence of this cat when he shifts into high gear.
